MediCard Implements New Billing Submission Process for More Efficient Claims Processing
Makati City, February 10, 2025 – MediCard is implementing a new hardcopy billing submission process for accredited hospitals and doctors. Effective March 10, 2025, hardcopies of bills must be sent to Datamatics, MediCard’s new Claims Receiving Partner.
This transition is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations. A 30-day transition period will be observed to allow accredited hospitals and doctors to adjust to the new process.
“Our goal is to improve the overall experience of our accredited partners by reducing manual processing time and ensuring claims are handled more efficiently,” said Irene Labao, MediCard Operations Head. “By centralizing hardcopy billing submissions, we can minimize errors and enhance tracking.”
Key Changes in the Billing Submission Process:
- New Submission Address: Hardcopy of bills must be sent to Datamatics: 9TH FLOOR, HANSTON SQUARE BUILDING, ONE SAN MIGUEL AVENUE, ORTIGAS CENTER, 1605 CITY OF PASIG
- Submission via email is preferred: Submissions should be forwarded to this email address: claimsreceiving@medicardphils.com
Accredited hospitals and doctors are encouraged to transition to this new process before the official launch on March 10, 2025. For questions or further assistance, contact claimssupport@medicardphils.com.
This initiative underscores MediCard’s commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring efficient claims processing and stronger partnerships with healthcare providers.
